Community Groups

We believe that Christian community is not optional for believers.

Rather we need one another to continue to grow in grace, to guard one another against the deceitfulness of sin, and to stir up one another to love and good deeds. Northwood’s Community Groups are aimed at just that.

Our Community Groups nurture the mutual ministry of our church with the hopes of multiplication by providing a context in which everyone is welcome to apply the gospel to their lives through engagement with God’s Word so that growth, care, and discipling relationships may occur.

Community Groups consist of approximately 8-12 people (though this varies from group to group) that gather formally to discuss God’s Word, to pray, and to encourage one another. In addition to the formal gathering, group members are encouraged to meet in smaller subsets (e.g. two or three folks grabbing coffee with other group and/or church members) throughout the week to share life together that we might spur each other on in the pursuit of Jesus.

Groups meet throughout the region on a variety of evenings throughout the week. You’re invited to visit any group that fits your schedule.
