Teen Challenge Choir and All-Church BBQ Sunday, July 18, 2010

In 1983 MN Teen Challenge was created. In 1993, for $1, the Executive Director, Rich Scherber bought a condemned crack house and began renovations. In 1994 the teens’ program begins followed by an on-site high school for boys and girls, ages 14-17. Fast forward to the present and MN Teen Challenge is serving and housing 400 residents, (up from 100 in 1999); hosts a new GED program, and has opened new facilities in Duluth and Brainerd. For the past seven years Northwood has invited the Teen Challenge Choir to spend a Sunday with us to sing and share their FaithStories.

Following the 10:50 a.m. service EVERYONE is invited to a BBQ on the patio. Cost is $5 per person or $20 per family. No RSVP necessary.
