Study:  Girl Talk

Description: Are you ready for some Girl Talk?  Join us every other Monday, as we build some new friendships and have fun doing it!

As women, we are relational by design. We long to communicate and share. Simply put, we are made to connect. (Just take a look at your cell phone bill.) But in the frenzy of everyday life, friendships are often the first casualty on an overwhelming to-do list.  Author Jen Hatmaker believes it’s time to reprioritize. Girl Talk is a fun, fresh Bible study with a focus on friendship. In this five-week series, Jen takes a girlfriend-next-door look at what makes relationships tick. You’ll discover God’s design for community, how to avoid harmful people, and the five levels of communication that nurture intimacy.  Most of all, you’ll share life with women on the same journey as you--which is what friendship is all about.

Study:  Just Walk Across the Room

Description:  What if you knew that by taking ten steps across a room and saying hello to another person, you could impact his or her eternity?  It has nothing to do with methods and everything to do with taking a genuine interest in another human being.

Just Walk Across the Room is an approach to evangelism modeled by Jesus himself.  This dynamic four-session experience will equip and inspire you to follow his lead by taking simple walks across rooms to extend care, compassion, and inclusiveness to people who might need a touch of God’s love today.  Discover how to partner with the Holy Spirit in a way that allows him to accomplish his kingdom-building activity through you.  You can make the difference of an eternity for someone standing near you!  This is something you can do, and it all begins with a simple walk across the room.
